About the Psychosis Research UnitThe Psychosis Research Unit (PRU) was formed in 2008 by Professor Tony Morrison and Dr Paul French. PRU is a joint project between the University of Manchester and Greater Manchester West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust . PRU's main aim is to research, develop and evaluate effective psychological treatments for psychosis. ACTION is a joint project between PRU and colleagues from the University of Newcastle (Professor Douglas Turkington, Dr Alison Brabban and colleagues). We are funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NHS England and Wales). ACTION forms part of the UK Clinical Research Network Study Portfolio. |
